Agriculture is a diverse field of study. In Sikkim agriculture is a dominant sector, there are many colleges and universities teaching agricultural, home Science and allied disciplines for the development of the state. Students can pursue both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in this field of study. The study of agricultural sciences involve understanding the nature of cultivation. Eligibility A pass in the two-year Intermediate Examination of Sikkim State Board or +2 Examination recognized as equivalent. Students are admitted into all U.G courses based on their performance in the entrance exam.
